A MERV 13 filter is a type of air filter certified to have passed the most rigorous tests to reduce the negative impact on indoor air quality caused by airborne particles. This was one of the smoothest home renovation projects I've experienced.My previous air conditioner was a complete nightmare after installation—I bought it from a certain large electronics store that handed off the job to unreliable third-party contractors. Within months, it started leaking from the base and couldn’t drain properly, it was angled weirdly. It became one of the most stressful events for me, especially during summer when we relied on the air conditioning.
